Lessons from the Last 265 Days at Chocolate Africa Classical Guitar Academy

I’ve been postponing sharing my top lessons learned as we actively push the vision with the children at Chocolate Africa Classical Guitar Academy. The last 265 days have taught me things no book ever could.

It’s a journey that has stretched my faith, sharpened my thinking, and completely redefined what success looks like to me — it is more about impact.

Training children, regardless of their background, to have access to quality music education using classical guitar as a tool, all for free, will humble you quickly.

This experience has taught me to listen more, share credit freely, and put purpose above self.
These children have changed me.
The responsibility has changed me.
And the vision is clearer than ever.

This journey also inspired What If, a song that asks the same questions I’ve had to wrestle with along the way:
